Adhere to the Rules 6/26

Filly had a great day. She got to go out on a big pasture for 2 hours. She can't be allowed so much exercise that her legs get fatigued, but a little exercise is needed for strengthening. It was later in the day as it was cooling off & she had such fun. She ran & squealed & ran & squealed & jumped through the air. Poor Mama tried to keep up at first, then she gave up & just watched her silly filly. It was awesome to see Filly having such fun. While her left leg (actually just her pastern) is still "noodley", she never missed a step. Obviously the speeding exercise was good for Filly's mental health.

Grey Girl & Mommy Dearest also got to go out on pasture. GG ran & played but her mother wants to keep her close. She wore Mommy Dearest out trying to keep up with racer baby. Wow, what a gorgeous trot on GG. Even though she's still a little tight, she has beautiful gaits. This was the first time GG has been out of the 60x50 paddock. She investigate all the boulders, weeds, fences, & water trough. She had so much fun & is such a curious little girl. While the mommies wanted in for dinner, the fillies wanted to stay out & play. CMK was on the mommies' side so the silly fillies had to come in for dinner.

The wonderful trimmer stopped by & dropped off Adhere. She also loaned her pony nippers so CMK can have an easier time trimming Filly's hind feet. Her hind feet are too upright with high heels so now the job of trimming them this weekend will be much easier. Thank you!
DW managed to get the heel extension cuff glued on Filly without getting it all over. Then the cuff was wrapped really well in tape in an attempt to keep it from being pulled off. DW had a great idea & made a pseudo bellboot out of the tape. It looks like it'll work. Hopefully the cuff will still be in place tomorrow morning.
